FINAL REPORT FOR KADUNA STATE 2008 MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF MDG-DRGs PROJECTS
This report is the final report of the field M & E exercise in Kaduna State conducted by OSSAP-MDGs and Kaduna State M & E Team. It reports on about 1,500 projects and programmes earmarked for monitoring in Kaduna state.

The report attempts to review the MDGs objectives and instrumentality of OPEN in achieving the MDGs in Nigeria. The methodology applied by the team was basically field visits, project observation, qualitative analysis, data collection, interviews with MDA officials, community leaders and project beneficiaries; and photograph shots of the projects.

 The report observed that most of the projects were properly executed and are functional and have potentials for achieving the related MDGs whereas few others were either not executed at all or still in progress or executed but have ceased to function. The report also notes that programmes initiated to empower families and cooperative societies were a huge success in Kaduna state.
