Pictured above is Aliyu Jibril (PWD), his rice and maize farm was washed away by the flood and after the incident life have become very difficult for him and his family. He has a household of 8 and there was no one to come to their aid when the flood destroyed his farm. He is the head of the family and sole provider also. He was glad to receive cash assistance and also said that he is going to use a major part of the cash received to invest in his farm. He said he had used some portion of the cash to buy food for the family.He appreciated the partners that made the intervention possible and also said that the assistance came at a very right time.
